Things Looking Up for Cracker Barrel

Things appear to be looking up for Cracker Barrel Old Country Store. Perhaps what looks good for Cracker Barrel is good for the overall economy. With Cracker Barrel serving a good cross-section of main-stream America. maybe it is a sign that the U.S. economy is on the rebound.

Enraged About Educational Entitlements

While I admire the spunk of these students, I have to question if one has the right to be upset over the loss of entitlements. Where do people get the idea that the government owes them anything?
Entitlements are nice for those receiving them, but someone has to pay for the entitlements. If a society can afford to dole out these benefits, so be it, but if not, then there is nothing wrong with people paying their own way through innovation hard work.

Sometimes We Need To Lighten Up

Sometimes we are so caught up in being holy, or apperaing yo be holy that we forget that we are human. i have to confess, I have sooooooo guilty of this. so I am speaking from experience as one who had a holier than thu attitude, which tries to creep back in at times.

"Never show the depth of your life to anyone but God. We are so nauseatingly serious, so desperately interested in our own character and reputation, we refuse to behave like Christians in the shallow concerns of life. Make a determination to take no one seriously except God. You may find that the first person you must be the most critical with, as being the greatest fraud you have ever known, is yourself."

Cracker Barrel Doing the Leadership Shuffle

It appears that Cracker Barrel is doing pretty good these days, making changes in leadership to get ready for explosive growth. Considering the state of the economy lately, that speaks well of the Cracker Barrel corporation and the leadership team. I can say from the grass roots level, Cracker Barrel is continuely trying to improve upon the guest experience, although I do not always agree with their methods, at least they are making an effort.
