It is getting late and I realize that it is already Thursday, the traditional Turkey and dressing day at the Cracker Barrel Old Country Store.
I must lay down and get my rest,
So as I greet the guests I will be my best
So I can do my part with the rest of the crew
Serving up that delicious Cracker Barrel food.
I could resist the opportunity for a little poem. I am a waiter by necessity, but my real passion is not restaurant work but writing, However, in another month I will celebrate 15 years with Cracker Barrel. A long time in this line of work, to my knowledge there are only three other workers at my store who have been with the company longer.
